Peak to Peak!

Today was an exciting day on Whistler/Blackcomb, as it was the opening of the Peak to Peak gondola. I was a sucker a rode it, although I didn't wait for the glass bottom cabin. It's pretty amazing though, amazing view, nice and roomy and you can now warm up in whis park in the morning and head over to black park for the sunny afternoons in a mere 11 minutes. Some technical details: the gondola spans 4.4 miles making in the longest gondola in the world I believe and making Whistler/Blackcomb one of the largest, if not the largest ski resorts in the world!
